Kawaichiya Ryokan provides Japanese-style rooms. The Triple Room with Private Open-Air Onsen is a non-smoking room, featuring a tatami living area, Western-style beds from Simmons Co Ltd, and a private onsen open-air bathroom. The Twin Room with Private Onsen is also non-smoking, offering a tatami living area, Western-style bed area, study area, and a private onsen bathroom. It includes free Wi-Fi, yukata robes, a safe, air conditioning, heating, a toilet, a TV, a telephone, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle. The private bath has onsen water with volume and temperature control. Twin and Compact Twin Rooms with Shared Bath include Francebed Co Ltd single low-type beds, free Wi-Fi, yukata robes, a safe, air conditioning, heating, a shared bathroom, a toilet, a TV, a telephone, and a refrigerator. Japanese Rooms with Shared Bath feature 12 tatami flooring with Japanese futon bedding and shared bathrooms.

Kawaichiya Ryokan features two onsen sources: Asagama and Shinyu. The indoor bath uses Asagama, while the outdoor bath uses Shinyu. Guests can visit 13 public bathhouses, known as Soto-yu, in the village, including O-yu bathhouse (4 mins from Kawaichiya Ryokan), Kamitera-yu bathhouse (next to Kawaichiya Ryokan), and Shin-yu bathhouse (near Tsutsujiyama Park).

The Ryokan's cuisine incorporates local ingredients from the Nagano region. Two dining options are available: the Wagyu course, which features two types of black Wagyu beef, and the river fish course, with three types of Shinshu brand river fish served with Shinshu vegetables. Meals include Nozawa Onsen Koshihikari rice cooked with local water. The drink selection includes local sake, wine, beer, and 100% juice.

Kawaichiya Ryokan is located in Nozawaonsen, 100 km from Shinshu-Matsumoto. It is near the Kamitera-yu bathhouse. From Nagoya Station, take the JR Cyuo Line to Nagano Station (180 min), then the JR Iiyama Line (60 min). From Kanazawa Station, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen (75 min) to Iiyama Station, followed by the Limited Express Bus Nozawaonsen Liner (25 min). From Osaka Station, take the JR Hokuriku Line to Kanazawa Station (160 min), then the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Iiyama Station and the Nozawaonsen Liner.

Kawaichiya Ryokan provides services, including Wi-Fi, delivery, and lift ticket sales. The ryokan has a shop and a ski drying room in the basement. Parking is available next to the ryokan. Other services: Ski equipment delivery service. It features a gift shop that offers local products. The ryokan is fully non-smoking. There is a coin laundry available, situated on the second floor. Check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
